Tallinn Airport has seen considerable growth in air cargo during the past years not only in belly hold cargo but also scheduled courier and charter freighter flights. This can be explained by Estonia´s and it´s main airport´s strategic location which contributes to air cargo development in both local and intermodal transit cargo.
The main key to the current success is in the quality and speed of aircraft and cargo handling as well as suitable pricing in terms of airport and handling charges. Also the current facilities enable the landing and handling of the world´s biggest cargo freighters and the soon to be completed expansion projects add even further to the capacity and flexibility of handling such freighters. Tallinn airport is looking for long-term partnerships to develop future air cargo area and facilities.
