Horst Wiedmann is Senior Vice President ZF Friedrichshafen AG. He is also the Board Chairman of the Federal Association of Materials Management BME e.V. where he has been involved in initiating and implementing the strategic reorientation of the association. The 62-year-old father of two has previously been tasked to develop international and political contacts as well as expand BME’a range of services. As the Senior Vice President at Z Friedrichshafen AG, Horst was tasked with strengthening compliant behavior in Material Management globally. In supply chain management, Horst has been involved in developing Processes, Methods, Systems and Reporting structures. He has previously served as a Compliance Officer and among his activities is the conversion and preparation of the generational change in the Federal Executive Board.
